Stress.

Many of us have it, and most of us hate it. It’s a large part of being human.

We try to combat stress with yoga or meditation or mindful thinking, but sometimes it’s just not enough.

Sometimes you just need to go to the extreme to get a little bit of relief.

We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite stress fighters. Check ’em out below.

1.) Turn on the newest Adam Sandler film, and after about five minutes, chuck whatever you’re eating at the screen. Popcorn, pizza, Bud Light. It doesn’t matter. Wait as a wave of calm and satisfaction overcomes you.

Admit it; you want to throw something at the screen right now.

2.) Green tea is known for its calming properties. It also helps with lowering cholesterol and improving blood flow. To help chill you out, brew a pot of your favorite green tea, add one cup of vodka and stir. Stress relief will be instant.

3.) Try rock climbing. Not only is it a great workout that strengthens your core and challenges your fear of heights, but if you fall and break your legs, you will no longer be thinking about what stressed you out to begin with.

4.) Stop drinking coffee. It can perpetuate anxiety.

5.) Wait, don’t stop drinking coffee. That’s dumb. Life with anxiety is better than a life without coffee.

6.) Get outside and smell the fresh air! Trying going for a walkcamping or selling all of your belongings and living on bark and roots in the backcountry of Yellowstone.

7.) Owning a pet has been found to help lower cholesterol and reduce your risk of having a heart attack. Consider adopting a dog, cat or sugar glider. Definitely a sugar glider.

8.) Pick up the phone and call a friend. Tell your friend all of the reasons they annoy the crap out of you is a great way to feel better about yourself.

9.) Play Pokemon Go. No, seriously. It has a lot of health benefits like easing anxiety and depression, getting you to exercise and helping you socialize.

10.) Aromatherapy is known for its helping you sleep better, easing tension and worries ,and its ability to make you smell like Matthew McConaughey circa 2000.
