There are many health insurance plans available, and figuring out which plan is best for you can be a painstaking, mind-numbing task.

If you’re in the market for health insurance, there are two important factors to consider when shopping:

  • Cost: What plan best fits your budget.
  • Medical needs: What plan best covers your medical needs.

Say you have a chronic illness that requires multiple doctor visits and medications throughout the year. A higher premium (monthly payment)/low deductible plan might be the best option for you. These type of plans, typically called a Gold or Platinum plan, will financially cover many of your medical needs.

Now, say you barely go to the doctor and you only have one prescription. You’re probably not going to need a plan that covers a a wide range of medical services. In this case, a lower premium/higher deductible plan, typically called a Bronze or Silver plan, might fit your needs and budget the best.

If you’re not sure what plans works best for you, give us a ring. That’s what we’re here for. We can help you find the best plan that fits your medical and/or budgetary needs.
