We’re big yoga fans over here at KindHealth, but we don’t always find the time to go to a studio and get our yoga on.

Luckily technology has made it super easy for us yogis when a studio isn’t an easy option.

Yoga is important to our well-being. It not only helps keep our mind clear, but it also keeps us flexible, toned and feeling healthy. Yoga has other health benefits such as helping with posture, increasing blood flow and boosting immunity. In other words: It’s an important routine to install into your daily routine!

Here is a list of our favorite yoga apps.

yoga studio

Yoga Studio– $3.99

YogaStudio is one of the top paid apps for good reason: It offers easy-to-follow HD videos with narration that is perfect for all abilities. The design is sleek, the tutorials are simple to understand and the app offers customizable classes with over 280 poses. Better yet: You can schedule classes that sync with your phone. This app is perfect for people new to yoga or pros who want to freshen up when they can’t get to the studio.

Pocket Yoga

Pocket Yoga– $2.99

Like Yoga Studio, Pocket Yoga offers over 200 poses for yogis to try. Unlike Yoga Studio, Pocket Yoga offers illustrated guides rather than video. However, this app is super easy to use. Not only is there narration that includes inhaling and exhaling, you can set your own music library to your routine. Pocket Yoga also logs your routines so you can track your progress. This app is good for intermediates or people who enjoy listening to their own music while practicing.– $3.99

What makes special is that it not only offers over 300 poses and breathing techniques, it also shows 3D muscle images for every pose. Yogis can search classes by ability–with over 45 predefined programs available–or customize their own. This simple-to-use app is great for newbies who want to learn form.

Daily Yoga

Daily Yoga– Free

Daily Yoga is one of our favorite free yoga apps. It offers simple-to-understand yoga classes for weight loss, body toning, better sleep, glowing skin, menstruation….you name it! There is a premium version of this app–$7.99 a month–that offers up to 500 poses and more programs, but we dig the free version. This app is great for yogis who want simple, straightforward classes.
