We’re excited to announce a new feature for y’all!

When you buy a health insurance plan through us, you’ll get the option to buy deductible insurance too.

What is deductible insurance, you ask?

Good question.

Here is how it works:

-Your health insurance plan has a deductible of $2,500.
-You buy deductible insurance for $25 a month ($300 a year).
-You get into a ski accident and you have to be airlifted to the ER to treat a broken leg and arm.
-Your medical bills exceed your deductible, which means you owe $2,500 (and any co-insurance) to your doctors and the hospital.

-You won’t have to pay your $2,500 deductible because you have deductible insurance and you’ll get a check to cover the $2,500.

In other words: You would have to pay the deductible insurance for 8 years without an accident or birth before you actually lose money ($300/year x 8 years = $2400 total paid over that time). Even one accident or childbirth in that time frame and you’ve made money. It’s a no-brainer.

Kind of awesome, right?

That’s just another way we look out for you, kiddos.
