A little tale from our copywriting, Lauren:

Last week I was laying in bed, my little cat baby, FatFace, perched upon my chest.

I took a phone call and suddenly felt the sweet sting of cat teeth in my face.

Yes, my sweet cat had bitten into my jaw like it was a t-bone steak.

Why? Because she doesn’t seem to like when I talk loudly, or to someone else. I’m not sure why this sends her into a homicidal rage. Cats are freakin weird, man.

I threw her off and clutched at the puncture wounds.

It stung, y’all. Big-time. And my face was in a lot of pain.

Realizing that I hadn’t had a tetanus shot in the past ten years, I figured it was a good precaution to get one.

The following day, as I was getting ready to head to urgent care, I thought, “Wait a gosh darn moment! Why don’t I just call Remedy Urgent Care?”

If you follow this blog, you may remember that name from a previous post. Remedy Urgent Care is the first at-home doctor service in Austin. You schedule a time to have a doctor take care of you right in the comfort of your own home. As for me, I got a tetanus shot right at my kitchen table. Remedy takes health insurance, so the visit was my urgent care copay ($35) and the basic cost of the visit ($49–however, I paid $39 because you get $10 off when you sign up for their newsletter).

Everything about the experience was great. Not only did I not have to waste my time driving to urgent care and then waiting to be seen, I received extremely personal and friendly care.

Next time you need medicine, stitches, a physical, lab work or a tetanus shot from a loving cat bite, consider trying Remedy.
